AppFolio Specialist (Remote)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote AppFolio Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in providing exceptional accounting and operational support to our clients leveraging your expertise in AppFolio with additional experience in QuickBooks Online and Xero considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain client accounts using AppFolio including property-related financial data tenant transactions reporting and reconciliations.
Manage and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks Online Xero and other accounting platforms as needed.
Prepare financial statements monthly reports and supporting schedules accurately and on time.
Present month-end financial reports and summaries to clients or internal management.
Assist clients with budgeting forecasting and financial planning as required.
Collaborate with team members and clients to address AppFolio and accounting-related inquiries.
Stay updated on industry regulations accounting standards and software best practices to ensure process accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Proven experience working with AppFolio.
Preferably with QuickBooks Online/Xero experience as well.
Accounting/Bookkeeping experience is required.
Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus but not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with team members and clients.
