Our Client is an exclusive education partner of Wall Street English and Curiookids in Indonesia. They also provide independent study abroad consultations and test preparation courses through INDIES (Independent International Education Solutions) as well as English-based soft skills courses for professionals (ProSkills) for corporates.


MISSION: The goal is to achieve the companys annual commercial objectives (top-line growth profitability and student experience). Reporting to the CEO and/or COO he/she will be responsible for all sales & marketing funnels (digital brand activation internal revenue) as well as the student experience (customer satisfaction) online and in-center (depending on the business unit). Ultimately P&L responsibility for the relevant business unit/division.


1. Achieves monthly sales targets

Set bottom-up sales targets sales tactics promotions and related marketing initiatives

Track and drives the sales & marketing functions daily through robust data-driven reports

Lead and drive Area Managers to achieve monthly sales and experience goals


1a) Competencies/Characteristics Required:

Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets

Data-driven analytical and able to quickly identify root-causes as well as propose solutions

High need-for-achievement wants to win and tireless

Has basic sales skills and understands the essence of B2C selling (Technical)

Resilient and never-give-up attitude

Rigorously focused on formulating and driving processes (believes that the right process will eventually lead to desired results)


2. Achieves hiring and people development goals in line with company values

Formulate and execute hiring strategies for frontliners

Groom coach and develop potential middle-managers

Coach and inspire managers to become better leaders


2a) Competencies/Characteristics Required:

Able to read/judge people well

High EQ and temperament to delicately balance push-stroke management of Indonesians

Understands and implements effective coaching methods

Sets high standards for him/herself and is strict about ensuring staff adherence to service/grooming standards

Communicates with empathy and can regulate emotions yet ruthless when needed


3. Develops and executes mid-term commercial strategy (sales marketing and experience) to achieve annual goals

Effectively cascades OKRs inter-function coherently

Effective merchandising and pricing strategies

Drive overall brand and performance marketing strategies


3b) Competencies/Characteristics Required:

A logical strategic thinker

Able to articulate ideas well in presentations

Strong commercial judgement to know what promos/tactics would work and what would not


4. Launch new centers and new complementary products

Able to present feasibility study for proposed new sites

Secure new sites project manage build and pre-sales/marketing

Identify complementary revenue generation opportunities create product and launch


4b) Competencies/Characteristics Required:

Strong project management skills

Ruthlessly focused on getting things done

Innovative




Required Skills:

- 5 years and above operational skills in retail/service sector - Highly data-driven & analytical - Strong project management experience - Strong people leader Skills - Consulting background in business process improvement and/or strategy would be a bonus - Proven track record in scaling and growing business - Experience in managing P&L
