Responsibilities:
Execute 6G welding on pipes at a 45-degree fixed angle using SMAW and GTAW processes.
Interpret welding drawings material specifications and welding symbols accurately.
Prepare and align pipe joints ensuring proper fit-up and weld penetration.
Perform welding repairs and rework as directed by quality control inspectors.
Maintain welding tools equipment and machinery in optimal working condition.
Collaborate effectively with fitters fabricators and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow.
Requirements
Requirements:
Technical Diploma or Trade Certificate in Welding or a related field.
Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience as a 6G Welder in oil & gas shipbuilding or construction projects.
Proficient in both SMAW and GTAW welding techniques.
Demonstrated expertise in 6G fixed pipe welding (45 position) with consistent quality output.
Valid Trade Test Certificate (Mandatory).
Experience working on Gulf or overseas industrial projects is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of welding codes standards and quality requirements.
