Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing building securing and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. We are seeking an Airborne Mission Network FSR to work in a collaborative and innovative environment supporting our Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) program. You will be a critical part of the Network/System Administration team maintaining the AFSOC networks in our OCONUS locations.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers network security etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware software or system functional specifications.
  • Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
  • Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
  • Analyzes troubleshoots and resolves issues with airborne mission systems including routers switches modems and network connectivity.
  • Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
  • Supports new infrastructure projects.
  • Responsible for operation and proper handling of COMSEC material and encryption devices such as SKL.
  • Performs configuration and mission data entry with Harris RF equipment such as PRC-117G/152A providing multiple waveform communication options to the customer.
  • Other duties required to maintain the operation and security of Airborne Mission Systems equipment and software in accordance with government and industry standard.
  • Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years experience in hands-on network / system administration.
  • Active T3 investigation with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
  • CompTIA Security Certification.
  • Knowledge of Special Operations SOCOM and C4ISR systems and networks.
  • Knowledge of DoD information assurance policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design operation maintenance troubleshooting and sustainment.

Physical Demands

  • Be able to lift or assist with two person lift approximately 50lbs.
