Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard our digital systems data and infrastructure. This role involves implementing security measures monitoring for threats addressing vulnerabilities and responding to incidents to ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of information assets.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor systems and networks for security breaches or anomalies
Identify assess and remediate vulnerabilities using security tools and best practices
Investigate and respond to security incidents; perform root cause analysis and reporting
Develop and enforce security policies procedures and standards
Manage firewalls antivirus solutions SIEM tools and IDS/IPS systems
Conduct regular audits risk assessments and penetration testing
Ensure compliance with frameworks and regulations (GDPR ISO 27001 NIST HIPAA)
Provide cybersecurity training and awareness for employees
Stay current on emerging threats trends and security technologies

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity IT Computer Science or related field
5 years of cybersecurity or IT security experience
Strong knowledge of network security authentication encryption and access control
Experience with firewalls antivirus SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk AlienVault) and endpoint protection
Familiarity with Windows Linux and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
Solid understanding of common attack vectors and mitigation strategies
