Job Summary

Your new role

Lead and coordinate an evidence-based Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) program focused on delivering behaviour-change interventions. The role supports participants to reduce or cease harmful substance use build healthier lifestyles prevent and manage relapse and understand the link between substance use and offending to reduce re-offending.

As Team Leader around 30% of your time will be dedicated to leadership duties such as staff supervision and task coordination with the remaining 70% spent on direct clinical service delivery (subject to program needs).

About you

You will have a relevant qualification/s in health and/or welfare tertiary qualification such as Family Therapy Social Work Psychology Nursing or Allied Health Sciences as well as:

  • Certificate IV in AOD or have completed the core competencies (or able to complete within the first 24 months of employment.
  • Competencies in dual diagnosis preferred.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Experience in group work.
