Job Summary

Financial Aid Processor
Position Overview:The Financial Aid Processor supports the administration of federal state and institutional financial aid programs with a primary focus on student verification grant processing and system data accuracy. This position also serves as a key backup to Financial Aid Counselors and front-desk operations to ensure seamless service delivery to students and families.
Essential Duties:
  • Review and complete Federal Verification ensuring federal compliance and timely communication with students
  • Serve as backup to Financial Aid Counselors and the front-desk assisting with packaging Title IV state and institutional funds FAFSA reviews and student support.
  • Maintaining financial aid records by collecting data from other administrative offices on campus collecting required applications and documentation from students obtaining student financial aid information from the Department of Education and State of Minnesota
  • Assisting with preparation and distribution of financial aid information workshops presentations visits New Student Orientation and conferences
  • Oversee key financial aid scholarship and grants including MN Child Care Grant administration tuition waiver processing and backup loan supportensuring accurate eligibility review compliance and timely reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree: Required
  • Financial Aid experience: Preferred
