Responsibilities
The Maintenance Engineer 1 is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in a healthcare facility environment. This position focuses on ensuring that essential hospital equipment furniture and systems are operational safe and reliable. The role requires technical knowledge problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other staff members.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Technical or vocational training in a relevant field preferred
Experience
1 year of experience in facility maintenance or a related field required
Relevant certifications or licenses in maintenance or electrical work preferred
