Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking Systems Engineers (Operations/Systems Analyst) to join our team in Arlington VA.

As an Operations Analyst you will be part of the team that delivers customer-focused analysis as well as modeling and simulation to address a variety of military needs across the Department of Defense. Observations derived from the analysis will be used to inform Boeing Defense investments and drive Phantom Works capture strategy. To assist with this effort you will have industry-leading and customer-recognized resources of the Boeing Virtual Warfare Center (VWC) at your disposal as well as access to the brightest minds across a multitude of engineering disciplines.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced (Levels 2 and 3) System Engineers.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform operations analysis of military focused systems in multi-domain missions
• Interface with government customers and internal Boeing Business Units to define system performance requirements and model inputs
• Develop and verify modeling and simulation tools to conduct experimentation
• Deliver concise results from complex analyses
• Communicate and present informative results to stakeholders internal and external to Boeing

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
• 2 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Experience using simulation tools and/or computer programming
• Strong communications skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• 5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• PQs for PW will not be included in posting but helpful for sourcing

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (Associate Level 2): $94350 - $127650

Summary pay range (Experienced Level 3): $114750 $155250
