Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic this role you will be responsible for managing firewall devices from various vendors and ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS requirements. Your expertise will contribute to the overall security posture of our organization while participating in ongoing process automation initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in network security and administration.
- Proficiency in Python (medium level).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell (medium level).
- Demonstrated experience in managing and configuring firewall devices.
- Good understanding of network administration concepts.
- Knowledge with PCI-DSS requirements is highly appreciated.
- CCNP certification is a plus.
- A strong security mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Experience with IPS/IDS administration and fine-tuning as well as support with process automation initiatives would be beneficial.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and administering firewall devices from multiple vendors such as Palo Alto Checkpoint Fortinet and Cisco.
- Performing firewall rule audits in accordance with PCI-DSS requirements ensuring all rules are up-to-date and compliant.
- Conducting security validation checks for new firewall access-list rules to verify compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
- Maintaining relevant documentation related to firewall configurations audits and compliance activities.
- Participating in the automation of team processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
