We are looking for an Associate Developer to support the development testing and maintenance of robotic process automation (RPA) solutions to join our Product Operations team.
This role is ideal for someone early in their development career eager to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment. Reporting to the Team Lead Automation the role will contribute to building scalable secure and efficient software components primarily focused on automation workflows and integrations.
The primary responsibilities of the role sit across four key areas:
1) Automation Development & Implementation
- Design develop and test automation scripts and applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases under supervision.
- Develop automation workflows using platforms such as UiPath OCR and Power Automate.
- Design automated solutions that address business needs create capacity and improve efficiency.
- Ensure BOTs are tuned for maximum efficiency and minimal business exceptions.
- Optimise BOT capacity utilization across day and night operations.
2) Technical Planning & Execution
- Participate in technical planning and requirements gathering including estimation development testing and delivery.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and testing.
- Work with IT and Security teams to ensure seamless production deployment.
- Develop and execute deployment and post-implementation verification (PIV) plans.
3) Monitoring Troubleshooting & Optimisation
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues.
- Continuously monitor bot performance and uptime to ensure SLA compliance.
- Implement incident response and optimization strategies as needed.
- Conduct regular reviews for continual improvement.
4) Documentation & Collaboration
- Develop and understand the voice of the customer for the product.
- Document technical specifications and implementation details.
- Maintain clear communication with users regarding issues and transitions.
- Participate in code reviews and team stand-ups.
