Job Summary
All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a dynamic Outpatient Clinic setting! We are looking for a clinician to deliver compassionate care to our pediatric patients contribute to the multidisciplinary team and collaborate with families to deliver a plan of care.
This is a W2 full time position to work M-F from 10:00 am-6:30 pm or 4 10s from 8:00 am-6:30pm. This is an onsite clinic at 1306 E Calvada Blvd Pahrump NV 89048.
Responsibilities
- Treat pediatric patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist (OTR)
- Monitor a pediatric patients activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement and instruction
- Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients
- Verifies client information by interviewing client reviewing and recording medical history confirming purpose of treatment
- Maintains pediatric patients occupational therapy records by recording clients progress for use by the occupational therapist
- Maintains safe secure and healthy work environment by establishing following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Serves and protects the occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards policies and procedures federal state and local requirements
Qualifications :
- Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license required
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- At least one year of pediatric experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to participate in continued education courses
Compensation
$65.00 - $75.00 per follow up session / $100.00 per evaluation
