Qualifications :
As a Kitchen Assistant / Porter your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain daily hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Control and put away daily stock deliveries
- Wash dishes utensils and kitchen equipment
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef
- Clean and sanitise work surfaces floors and walls
- Empty and clean waste bins
- Organise and store cleaning supplies
- Assist with unloading delivery vehicles when necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Report any faulty equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Maintain a clean and tidy changing area and staff facilities
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods
- You will be required to work every other weekend.
Additional Information :
- Rate Per Hour: 12.21
- Hours Per Week: 35
