Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Engineer for employment in Bogota Colombia.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Environmental Project Engineer for the execution of field and office activities related to Environmental Site Assessments Phase I (Based on ASTM 1527-21) & Phase II (Based on ASTM 1903-19) Contaminated Site Remediation Monitoring Environmental Due Diligence Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Audits and Assessment of Environment and Health and Safety IFC Performance Standards.

In addition the professional will be responsible for:

  • Planning coordination and execution of field works
  • Execution of field and office activities
  • Preparation of technical reports
  • Preparation of technical and health and safety documents
  • Technical support in proposals preparation
  • All Administrative Health and Safety responsibilities arising from field and office work

Qualifications :

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering Sanitary Engineering Environmental and Sanitary Engineering Chemical Engineering or related Engineering careers.
  • 2 years of specific experience in Environmental Site Assessments Phase I (Based on ASTM 1527-21) & Phase II (Based on ASTM 1903-19) Environmental Due Diligence Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Audits
  • Oral and written proficiency in English
  • Availability to travel

Preferred Experience:

  • 7 years of general experience including specific experience equal or greater than five (5) years in Environmental Site Assessments Phase I (Based on ASTM 1527-21) & Phase II (Based on ASTM 1903-19) Environmental Due Diligence Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Audits.
  • Effective communication (oral and written)
  • Problem solving proactive and assertive behavior
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams
