JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the general guidance of the Room Service Manager the Room Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotels in-room dining services. This role ensures prompt courteous and professional service to guests maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. The Room Service Supervisor leads a dedicated team coordinates with kitchen and housekeeping departments and addresses guest inquiries and special requests to deliver an exceptional dining experience in the comfort of guest rooms.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the room service team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Train mentor and support room service staff to maintain high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor guest orders to ensure accuracy presentation standards and adherence to hotel policies.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests efficiently and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
- Conduct daily briefings and assign duties to room service attendants based on business levels.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of service areas and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper inventory of room service supplies and coordinate with the kitchen and housekeeping departments as needed.
- Prepare shift reports and assist in scheduling staff to meet operational needs.
- Monitor compliance with hotel policies procedures and service standards.
- Support management in implementing new initiatives to enhance the in-room dining experience.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

- We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the venue teams.
- Communicate with team members using a positive and clear speaking voice listen to and understand requests respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
- Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations.
- Make decisions and take actions based on previous experience and good judgment sometimes revising procedures to accommodate unusual situations.
