The Executive Director of Enterprise Planning & Portfolio Management at Regeneron will lead a transformative multiyear initiative toestablishbest-in-class enterprise planning capabilities across the organization.Partnering with cross-functional teams and senior Leadership this role is pivotal in driving operational excellence data transparency and strategic decision-making across the drug development lifecycle.
The position oversees governance optimization and integration of planning platforms and processes spanning R&D Manufacturing Commercial and supporting functions ensuring alignment with Regenerons mission to deliver life-changing medicines.
This strategic hire willleada high-impact program involving hundreds of stakeholders and multiple workstreams with the goal of delivering scalable solutions that redefine enterprise planning standards and capabilities. The Executive Director will also build and manage a dedicated team ensuring the long-term sustainability of Regenerons planning and portfolio management infrastructure.
In a typical day you will:
Define and execute the strategic vision for enterprise planning and portfolio management ensuring alignment with Regenerons corporateobjectivesand long-term growth strategy.
Lead a multiyear transformation initiative to evaluate and optimize planning processes systems and roles across R&D Manufacturing Commercial and other supporting functions.
Partner with senior sponsors and executive leadership to drive enterprise-wide initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Serve as the business owner for the enterprise planning platform (Planiswareor equivalent) overseeingroadmap development system configuration data governance and integration with financial and analytics systems.
Leadsplatform roadmap developmentimplementationsupgrades vendor management and license administrationin partnership with GD-IT.
Establish metrics and KPIs tomonitoradherence performance and the impact of planning capabilities on organizational goals.
Oversee the implementation and scaling of new enterprise capabilities including decommissioning legacy systems and integrating advanced solutions
Lead process optimization efforts including scenario modeling capacity planning milestone tracking enterprise reporting and resource forecasting.
Collaboratewith strategic partners to deliver operating model redesigns analytics enhancements and change management initiatives.
Ensure program scalability and sustainability through robust training programs stakeholder engagement and data migration strategies.
Establish and lead governance forums steering committees and change control boards to ensure cross-divisional alignment and adherence to updated SOPs.
Drive process standardization and training by overseeing the creation and continuous improvement of process documentation and training materials to ensure alignment with enterpriseobjectivesand operational excellence.
Enable visibility into pipeline health risk and value through integrated dashboards and analyticsin partnership withDataAnalyticsand functional areas.
Drive harmonization of portfolio data standards and reportingin partnership with R&D ManufacturingCommercialSG&Afunctionsand DataGovernance.
Drive the harmonization of data standards reporting frameworks and analytics across functional areas enabling visibility into pipeline health resourceutilization and portfolio value.
Align process design with system capabilities and business goals.
To be considered you must posess:
BS/BA Degree advanced degree preferredand a minimum17 years ofrelevant yearsof experience in project management and program planning enterprise systems portfolio management or process transformation leadership within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Deepexpertisein drug development lifecycle and cross-functional planningCPM/PMP or similar certifications preferred.
Hands-on experience withinformation technologyecosystemsincludingPPM platforms.
Demonstrated success inlarge scaletransformationPMO leadershipand use ofprocess transformation toolse.g.Lean Six Sigma.
Strong leadership stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities.
Proven ability to translate strategic goals into operational systemsprocessesand teams.
Strong people management skills withproven ability toidentify build talent and lead through uncertainty.
Excellent written and verbal communicationskills and comfort interacting with all levels in the organization across theenterpriseincluding the C-suite.
