The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors.

Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. Internally we have targeted talent development programs for employees at different stages of their career development to build skills and competencies foster training support people to own career development scale up organization for growth and execution.

How youll make an impact

1. You will define and implement the regional product strategy and roadmap and conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs competitor offerings and industry trends using insights to inform product development and positioning.

2. You will manage the technical and market specifications for products to create a sustainable growth business plan leading the lifecycle management process effectively and define plans for new products setting targets for technical specifications pricing and capital expenditures while coordinating cross-functional teams for successful execution.

3. You will develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for product launches including pricing strategies and promotional campaigns that drive market engagement.

4. You will serve as the primary liaison between the external market and internal functions like Sales and R&D ensuring accurate volume forecasting to meet customer order fulfillment.

5. You will initiate and execute a comprehensive product market communication strategy collaborating with channel partners and Sales teams to maximize product visibility.

6. You will develop and implement training programs for internal and external stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of product features benefits and value propositions.

7. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
2. Minimum years of experience in product management.
3. In-depth understanding of budgeting forecasting and financial analysis related to product profitability and market performance.

4. Strong technical understanding of energy solutions and industry technologies to effectively communicate product benefits and differentiate offerings.

5. Ability to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with long-term company objectives and market opportunities.

6. Strong commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional value through products.
