What Youll Do
As a Cash Applications Intern you will:
- Accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts in a timely manner
- Assist with reconciling bank statements and customer remittance details
- Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
- Support documentation and record-keeping for audits and compliance
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Effective communication skills in both English and Portuguese
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite
- Previous internship or work experience in finance or accounting
