Exciting Opportunity: Non-Dependent Recovery Coordinator in Norwich.
Are you experienced skilled and passionate about making a meaningful difference We are recruiting for aNon-DependentRecovery Coordinator to join our Norwich service to engage and assess our service users ensuring they receive timely personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs.
Where: Norwich Norfolk
Full Time Hours:37.5 per week
Full time Salary Range:27861.26 - 32002.35 (based on full time hours pro rata for part time hours)
Contract: Permanent
*Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
About the role:
- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Providingscreening assessment and recovery planning and onward referral
- Delivering a non-depdendent group work programme
- Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
- Promoting carer service user and community involvement
- Providingadvocacy for access to partnership services
- Working with service users to support social (re)integration enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery resilience peer support andself-determination
- Taking part in a duty rota which covers all walk in enquiries
- Providing Service Users with 1:1 psychosocial support
About you:
- Have a strong understandingof substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
- Be an excellent communicator both verbal and writtenwith good IT skills
- Proactiveand able to work on own initiativewith excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Have a good working knowledgeof mental health interventionsservicesand good practice
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skillswith the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionalsagenciesand internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
- Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
- Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professionalknowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
