Job Description
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Lead the planning and execution of projects ensuring key milestones and project goals are met.
- Collaborate with Program/portfolio management teams to align projects with business strategies and objectives.
- Agree and manage project governance including Steering Committees and Sponsorship Groups ensuring timely decisions and follow-ups.
- Oversee the execution of change management strategies including training rollouts and communication plans.
- Manage project dependencies ensuring alignment with BAU activities and other projects in the portfolio.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders summarizing progress priorities and key decisions.
- Ensure adherence to PMO governance implementing standardized tools and processes to maintain compliance and quality control.
- Manage project budgets ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Oversee the transition of solutions to business-as-usual support ensuring smooth handover and operational readiness.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and share best practices across the organization.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders ensuring clear communication resolving issues and driving project success.
- Contribute wider awareness and understanding of effective project management across the wider team enhancing the organisations project management capabilities.
