Job Summary

This role serves as a dedicated Business Data Analyst for the One Funnel initiative within the Advanced Leads & Insights (ALI) organization. The One Funnel teams mission is to enhance customer experience and help dealers overcome challenges by identifying the best ways to implement the One Funnel solution driving efficiency and effectiveness.

One Funnel delivers measurable impact across multiple dealership areas including but not limited to:

• Machine Sales
• Aftermarket Sales
• Service Execution
• Customer Onboarding
• Account Management

What You Will Do:

As a Business Data Analyst you will collaborate closely with One Funnel Consultants and dealers to understand business problems and deploy the One Funnel solution. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide dealer insights to support One Funnel Consultants in determining the best deployment approach.
• Prototype develop iterate and test PALs (Prioritized Action Lists) to enable effective One Funnel orchestration.
• Understand dealer systems and business processes required for PAL deployment.
• Assist dealers in implementing One Funnel with appropriate parameters and routing.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.

• Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect identify analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
• Business Assessment: Knowledge of the activities tasks practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities; ability to assess the benefits risks and success factors of potential applications.
• Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools methods and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
• Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design build and develop a new product technology or service from concept through to production.

Considerations for Top Candidates:

• University Degree or relevant experience in similar position.
• Fields of study include computer science business mathematics economics statistics engineering or in a related field.
• Experience using SQL to query and transform data to solve complex business problems.
• Experience working with Cat Digital Product datasets in Snowflake (such as STU OLGA PSE DNA LENS Vision Link eCommerce Cat Central etc).
• Strong attention to detail in order to spot inaccuracies in coding or data.
• Easily understand business processes - and cause and effect on datasets within the process.
• Confidence and initiative to create innovative solutions to solve business problems.
• Solid practical experience delivering production ready solutions
• Working knowledge of one or more programming languages
• Self-starter and driven while working well in team environment

Additional Information:

• Domestic or international travel; up to 25-50%
• This position has the option to be based out of either our Chicago IL; Peoria IL; Broomfield CO or Irving TX offices

Summary Pay Range:
