Job Summary

Our client a leading global investment bank is embarking on a significant technical transformation initiative for its customer-focused wealth management division. They are seeking several skilled Software Specialst to join their Hong Kong team.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise between business stakeholders and IT to implement technology solutions for the securities and brokerage sectors.
Gather analyze and document business requirements identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Conduct gap analyses and develop functional specifications user stories and use cases.
Collaborate with development teams to design and review technical solutions; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Create user guides and documentation while participating in project planning and status reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field; Masters degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in securities banking brokerage or wealth management.
3 years in Java development with knowledge of one or more Java frameworks.
Strong understanding of securities trading brokerage operations and financial regulations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
English and either Cantonese or Mandarin
