Job Summary

What were looking for Software Engineer (VMShift) (Only for people located in Latinamerica).

VMShift is the first ever AI-driven solution to unify VM discovery and migration in one seamless workflow. It automatically maps your environment delivers optimization insights and enables large-scale VM-to-container or cloud migration with speed and confidence.

Experience and knowledge

3 years of experience in a System Administration or Infrastructure-related role high priority
Hands-on experience with VMware environments (vSphere ESXi or similar)
Strong programming experience in Python
Solid understanding of Linux systems networking and virtualization fundamentals
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes Docker and Docker Compose in production-grade environments
Experience developing and maintaining Celery task queues and background worker systems
Proficiency with MySQL (e.g. schema design queries and optimization)
Familiarity with CI/CD Git and common automation workflows
English B2

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building migration modernization or infrastructure automation tools
Knowledge of OpenShift EKS AKS or Kubernetes deployment patterns
Experience implementing deployment logic or abstractions across multiple clusters or environments
Exposure to cloud compute environments (AWS Azure) and container registries
AWS or cloud certifications are a plus (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect AWS Developer Azure Administrator
