Who are we looking for

Our Contamination Assessment and Remediation team is looking for apart-timeSenior Regulatory Specialistto join their group with an emphasis on RCRA and TSCA program support. This is a phenomenal chance to make an impact on the community in which we live.

In this role you will be applying your environmental and regulatory background to support multi-disciplinary teams to evaluate strategize and solve risk-based environmental challenges. The position will also involve a balance of technical leadership proposal support and staff mentoring.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Subject Matter Expert:Act as subject matter expert in an area of RCRA and TSCA policy regulation and EPA processes for the team.
  • Insights and Reporting:Contribute to the creation of reporting strategies identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends and translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Health Safety and Environment:Monitor and review performance against health safety and environment (HSE) key performance indicators (KPIs) and patterns of behavior within the area of responsibility. Take action to improve performance and to resolve noncompliance with the organizations HSE policies procedures and mandatory instructions.
  • Solutions Analysis:Identify and evaluate complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.

What youll bring to the team:

  • Experience working with industrial sites
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong technical writing abilities

Education

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Environmental Science Geology Environmental Engineering or related field

Experience

  • 15 years of professional experience in the fields of contaminated sites investigation and remediation with focus on RCRA and TSCA programs

  • Paid time off Our PTO benefit is designed to provide eligible employees with a period of rest and relaxation sick and personal time throughout the year. PTO starts at 16 days per year and increases with years of service
  • Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee
  • Wellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program. GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees Home exercise equipment purchases Bicycles Race run & marathon entrance fees Smoking cessation programs Weight loss programs ( Watchers Jenny Craig) Fitbits and Fitness Tracking devices

Salary Range: $100320.00 - $167200.00 based on experience and location.
