- Lead mentor and empower a diverse team of engineers and managers fostering a culture of excellenceaccountabilityand innovation.
- Demonstrate extreme ownershipbytaking responsibility for outcomes decisionsandoverallteam success.
- Enhanceinternal capability by coaching staffonboth technical and client-facing skills.
- Enhance delivery frameworksQA/QCprocesses anddrive cross collaborationtoensure the team scales effectively.
Client & Market Impact
- Serve as a trusted advisor togenerationand largedevelopershelping them navigateERCOTs evolving interconnection landscape.
- Translate complex technical issues intoclear andactionable insights that accelerate client decision-makingand support project success.
- Leveragestrong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills togather necessaryinputand make informed recommendationsevenin situations where there is inherent ambiguity.
- Lead reviews of interconnection studies andidentifycreative pathways toremoveroadblocks andexpediteprojects.
Commercial & Strategic Growth
- Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute EPEs growth strategy across ERCOT and beyond.
- Identifyand pursue new service lines andproducts.
- Leadproposaland RFPdevelopmentefforts.
- Contribute thought leadership through conferences technical papers and industry forums.
- Drive the development of internal toolsand analytics that strengthen EPEsposition in the market.
Qualifications
Bring your passion heres whats needed:
- Minimum8years of experience in the electric energy industrywith at least 2 years of prior experience in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to connect the dots between technical depth and commercial strategy.
- Exceptional communicator who can influencecreatealignmentand make decisions confidently under uncertainty.
- Strong understanding of ERCOT and TSP interconnection requirements and standards.
- Strongwritten and verbalcommunicationandability to workcollaboratively andeffectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimalsupervision.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaboration across functions and geographies.
Beneficial Experience
- Direct experience working at aUtilityin the ERCOT footprintor on behalf of these entities as a consultant.
- Experience in IBR modellingand/orloadmodelling.
- Workingknowledge ofpower system analysis software(e.g. PSS/ETARAPSCAD PSLF orPowerWorld)
