About the Opportunity:
Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Operations Manager to plan direct and coordinate the daily operations of the Malaga Process Carrot Operations. The successful candidate will be charged with monitoring and driving improvement of productivity operational effectiveness resources utilization employee safety and order attainment. Whether you are a current GPG team member looking to grow your career or a professional seeking a rewarding opportunity in agriculture this position offers the chance to contribute to one of the worlds largest carrot and organic vegetable grower packer and shippers.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in business management or related field strongly desired but prior experience may be substituted for degree.
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in operations supervision and management.
- A minimum of 5 years specific managerial experience in production operations including a general knowledge of plant sanitation maintenance safety and Human Resources.
- Strong knowledge of raw-material-to-finished-product flows
- Proven track record of motivating individuals including direct supervision of crews and training of staff.
- Ability to interact effectively and objectively with all levels of employees.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills needed.
- Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
- Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Excel and MS Word.
- Remote work not available for this position.
- Some travel (5%).
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean DMV driving record.
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen and background check.
