ROLE SUMMARY:
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning pans pots dishes and other elements used in the Tasting Room and Kitchen. They operate the dishwashing machine or wash dishes by hand and maintain kitchen cleanliness. The dishwasher scrapes sorts and stacks dirty dishes loads them into the dishwashing machine and then adds soap to turn it on. Once the cleaning operation is complete they unload the dishes and put them in their places to be reused again. The Dishwasher is a fast-paced position thats essential for the kitchen to operate at the desired level.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up dish pit; ensuring chemicals are properly stocked and connected.
- Washing dishes glassware flatware pots and/or pans.
- Placing clean dishes utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Other cleaning tasks as needed.
- Minor prep tasks as needed.
- Upholding food safety standards at all times.
- Embraces and fulfills the core values and culture of Cutwater Spirits.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior restaurant kitchen experience (preferred).
