The Business Operations team is focused on solving some of Plaids most pressing business issues. They are a small team of individuals with complementary skill sets. This role will partner with our Bank Partnership team. This team oversees all aspects of our relationship with the banks and financial institutions that define how open finance works.
Responsibilities
- Initiating managing and successfully executing new cross-functional initiatives that increase alignment and create synergies across Plaid
- Partnering with other teams and functions to improve efficiency productivity and performance
- Developing and tracking key company KPIs to drive execution and identify opportunities for operational improvement
- Identifying and assessing the viability of new business opportunities strategic initiatives and partnerships for Plaid
- Building out processes and success measures and executing on initiatives to build launch and operationalize Plaids new products in close partnership with our Product and Go-To-Market teams
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience including 3 years in Strategy Business Operations or Finance supporting complex multi-stakeholder businesses
- A passion for financial services innovation
- Strong analytical financial modeling and presentation skills
- Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
- Ability to independently drive consensus across cross-functional teams and influence decision making
- Strong knowledge of SQL preferred
- Direct operational experience in fintech data infrastructure or other high-growth SaaS company with prior exposure to dual-sided marketplaces or network businesses preferred
$150000 - $224400 a year
The target base salary for this position ranges from $150000/year to $224400/year in Zone 1. The target base salary will vary based on the jobs geographic zones are as follows:
Zone 1 - New York City and San Francisco Bay Area
Zone 2 - Los Angeles Seattle Washington D.C.
Zone 3 - Austin Boston Denver Houston Portland Sacramento San Diego
Zone 4 - Raleigh-Durham and all other US cities
Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan including medical dental vision and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience and skillset and location.
