Teaching Assistant

Grade 5 SCP 6 - 25989 (Actual Salary 10038)

17 Hours per week 38 weeks per year. Monday to Friday each week.

Hartford Primary School are recruiting a Teaching Assistant with proven experience. This is a part time role working 17 hours a week term time only Grade 5. This is a temporary role with the possibility to become permanent.

The individual needs to be a strong team player enthusiastic patient flexible and passionate about not only working with children but helping them be the best they can be. The role will involve working with a diverse set of children experience of SEN would also be desirable. NVQ Level 2 is essential level 3 is desirable.

We would expect the individual to have:

• GCSE Math and English (or equivalent) at Grade C
• Competent IT Skills
• Knowledge of phonics letters and sound formation
• Excellent personal and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work independently recording childrens progress
