Job Summary
Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Sev1Tech is seeking a System Administrator SME to support the US Space Force Space Operations Command (SpOC) Space Delta 8. Space Delta 8 is the SATCOM war-fighting lead for the US Space Force and leads the operation maintenance and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System (WGS) with points of presence located at multiple sites CONUS and OCONUS providing the day-to-day operational support needed to manage DoDs satellite communications capabilities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Providing at least one dedicated individual for virtual machine and virtualization administrator support for WSOMS
Assisting in the creation maintenance/administration and troubleshooting of the various virtual machines presence in WSOMS
Minimum Qualifications
- US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 15 years experience withSystem Administration specifically in VMWare and Hyper-V and familiar with other virtualization protocols
- On-site support shall be provided during local day shift at the Wideband C-SSE in Colorado Springs CO during normal hours of operation (approx. 0730 - 1630 hours) 5 days a week (excluding weekends and Government-recognized holidays.)
