Outside Sales Representative Truck Brokerage

About Us: Givens Logistics is the brokerage division of Givens an asset-based 3PL that includes both a warehousing company and a trucking company with both OTR and drayage operations. This integrated structure allows us to offer customers dependable in-house capacity combined with flexible brokerage solutions making us a trusted partner for full-scale transportation and logistics needs. As we continue to grow we are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our customer base and promote the full capabilities of the Givens network.
Position Overview: The Outside Sales Representative will focus on developing new truck brokerage business while leveraging Givens OTR fleet drayage services and warehousing assets. This role is ideal for a self-motivated logistics professional who excels in building relationships meeting face-to-face with customers and creating customized transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Prospect identify and secure new shipper accounts within an assigned territory.
- Conduct on-site customer visits and present tailored logistics solutions.
- Promote a complete range of services including brokerage OTR trucking drayage and warehousing.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline through strategic outreach and CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to develop pricing bids and service proposals.
- Negotiate rates contracts and service agreements with new and existing customers.
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
- Represent Givens Logistics at industry events trade shows and customer meetings.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of outside sales experience in freight brokerage trucking logistics or related fields (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of truckload drayage warehousing and general logistics operations.
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated organized and capable of working independently.
- Ability to travel within the territory as needed.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
