We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Fire Watch professional to join our team for a shutdown project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves constant monitoring of designated work areas for potential fire hazards especially during hot work activities such as welding cutting and grinding ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment.
Continuously monitor the work area during hot work operations to identify and respond to fire hazards.
Ensure fire-fighting equipment (extinguishers hoses etc.) is readily available and in working condition.
Maintain a clear and safe workspace by removing combustible materials from the vicinity of hot work.
Immediately alert personnel and take action in case of a fire emergency.
Ensure compliance with safety standards site rules and permit-to-work procedures.
Conduct post-work inspections to confirm the area remains fire-safe after hot work completion.
Communicate effectively with the work team and report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.
Education: 12th grade (Higher Secondary) or above.
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Fire Watch or in a similar safety monitoring role.
Skills:
Basic English communication (verbal and written).
Knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency response.
Other Requirements:
Physically fit and alert with the ability to stand for extended periods.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Must be available for the project duration and willing to work in a shutdown setting.
