Senior Functional Business Analyst Orchestrade

Project Overview
You will be part of a top strategic initiative for a leading hedge fund implementing a new Orchestrade-based trading platform. This role offers exposure to multiple asset classes advanced workflows and the opportunity to gain deep expertise in a modern trading system.

The project includes:

Pre-deal origination workflows post-execution monitoring and lifecycle management
Platform configuration business support and workflow enhancements
Integration with Operations Finance and strategic risk systems
Reporting and reconciliation
Platform built on Orchestrade (.NET/C# with Excel integration) and MS SQL delivered either on-prem or via AWS
Role Overview
As a Senior Functional BA you will lead the analysis design and delivery of the implementation roadmap working closely with business and technical teams. You will join the global Orchestrade Practice contributing to functional expertise and solution delivery.

Responsibilities
Act as Senior BA with 10 years of capital markets & trading software experience
Conduct workshops and 1-1 sessions to gather business requirements
Analyze requirements and translate them into User Stories Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria (JIRA)
Participate in design implementation and testing activities
Validate and test features through SIT/UAT phases
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams (BA Dev QA PM Support)
Provide daily status updates raise issues proactively
Facilitate story point and task estimation in Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
Participate in discussions demos and presentations
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Orchestrade (actual platform usage and functional understanding)
Strong Capital Markets knowledge across multiple asset classes
Experience with trading platforms: Murex Calypso Orchestrade
Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
Excellent communication across business and technical teams
Knowledge of financial products and banking operations
Experience in JIRA / similar tools
System Integration Testing (SIT) & User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Ability to work in dynamic multi-team fast-paced environments
Nice to Have
Additional experience with Murex / Calypso
Strong understanding of Agile practices
Ability to work under pressure and independently
Basic technical knowledge: SQL C#
