Position: Sr. Technical Product Manager/Owner
Location: Fairfield CA / Dallas TX
Duration: Permanenet Full Time
Work: Onsite
Travel: Up to 25%
Responsibilities:
- Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into technical product (functional/non-functional/technical) requirements.
- Ability to work well with internal teams including developers engineers architects quality assurance as well as business operations such as Product marketing managers business segment teams (Business Analysts).
- Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
- Understand research and follow technical trends in the industry and in general.
- Follow competitors and conduct technical capability analysis regularly.
- Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
- Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities to support Sales & Marketing teams.
- Assess document and address technical risks in collaboration with architecture and product development teams.
- Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.
- Coordinate beta tests and define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
- Lead technical pre-sales activities and technical product/solution demos supporting sales & marketing team.
Require Skills:
- Bachelors Degree with 5 years of Product Engineering/ Technical Product Management experience (3 years with masters degree) for Power Transmission & Distribution System Automation & Control Software Domain
- 5 years Agile based SDLC experience with enterprise level environments
- 4 years experience as a Product Owner
- 2 years experience in scrum CICD and DevOps.
- Experienced in requirements gathering and aggregation.
- Experience in digital/software solutions for Electrical Power Transmission & Distribution Industry.
- Scripting / Programming skills.
