Job Summary

Job Title: Project Manager / Estimator
Location: Abilene TX - Full time - Direct hire

Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Estimator with strong expertise in metal stud framing sheetrock acoustical ceilings and EIFS. The ideal candidate should be proficient in estimating software such as OST or PlanSwift and have solid experience in commercial construction. Field experience and familiarity with multi-story projects are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Estimate projects and prepare all contract documents including submittals and material orders
Monitor and maintain project schedules and budgets
Supervise and coordinate internal staff and subcontractors
Communicate and coordinate with inspectors subcontractors and project stakeholders
Maintain strong customer relations and act as a liaison to ensure expectations are met and promote future business opportunities

Qualifications

Experience in commercial building construction
Ability to read and interpret building plans
Field experience is a strong plus
Experience with multi-story projects preferred
Expertise in metal stud framing drywall and acoustical ceilings
Proficiency in OST PlanSwift or similar takeoff/estimating applications
