Dealing with the odd emergency equipment breakdown on the weekend doesnt scare you because you are committed to organizational success.
Your Responsibilities
As 4th Class Power Engineer your main responsibility is to eliminate downtime of production and delivery. You will do this by:
Preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs of plant equipment such as:
Ice machines
Freezers
Cooling systems
Dock cranes
Cooled production areas
Troubleshooting and emergency repairs as needed
Machinery installation
Providing a safe environment for our team onsite
Some overtime on short notice may be required
Your Qualifications
4th class Power Engineering Certificate (you must be certified in British Columbia)
Experience working with plant pressure equipment such as boilers cooling systems and refrigeration
Experience and knowledge of general plant maintenance
Strong communication with an ability to manage and interact with all members of a diverse team
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
Knowledge and experience in the fishing food processing or manufacturing industry an asset
Licence/Certification:
CURRENT 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate BC (required)
