Role Overview:
Provide operational support and maintenance for a large Linux estate (approximately 300 servers). The role focuses on Red Hat (RHEL 8/9) administration patch management automation performance tuning security vulnerability remediation and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to ensure high availability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Install configure and maintain Linux operating systems and related software.

Perform OS patching and remediate security vulnerabilities to meet compliance requirements.

Tune systems to application-specific requirements and support server migrations.

Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability and reliability.

Develop and maintain automation (Ansible) and manage related platforms and tooling.

Provide on-call Unix/Linux support in a 24x7 environment and document work.
Required Skills & Experience:
