Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our HR Technology this role you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing internal HR applications related to employee shifts locations and work schedules.
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering AWS ecosystem tools and process automation to enhance efficiency reduce costs and scale HR workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing HR applications and workflows related to employee scheduling shift management and location tracking.
- Identify pain points inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines to support HR operations and analytics.
- Automate manual processes and optimize current workflows using AWS-native tools and technologies.
- Develop and maintain data models ETL processes and data lakes/warehouses for HR data.
- Ensure data quality consistency and security across HR systems.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders software engineers and business analysts to deliver efficient data-driven solutions.
- Drive innovation by adopting the latest AWS tools/technologies for system optimization.
Required:
- Singla Pankajs message action menu
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Engineering Information Systems or related field.
- 6 years of experience in data engineering ETL development or backend engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL Python or Scala for data transformation and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue Redshift Athena Lambda S3 and Step Functions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling schema design and workflow automation.
- Experience in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and data lakes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Ex- employee is bonus
- Past industry preference
- Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 8 years of experience working on HR or workforce management systems.
- Familiarity with workflow optimization and cost reduction strategies in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards for HR systems.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g. QuickSight Tableau Power BI).
