Job Summary
East-London Area Eastern Cape: This is a leading horticultural farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture and high-quality plant production. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Horticultural Farm Manager to lead their operations oversee plant cultivation and manage their team effectively.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- 5 years hands-on experience in growing plants preferably in a horticultural or agricultural setting.
- At least 6 years of experience working with labour in South Africa with a strong understanding of local labour dynamics and regulations.
- Fluency in Xhosa is essential for effective communication with team members.
- Excellent operational and organizational skills with a proven track record of managing complex farm activities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily farm operations including planting cultivation harvesting and maintenance of horticultural crops.
- Manage and supervise farm labour teams ensuring compliance with South African labour laws and promoting a positive work environment.
- Implement efficient organizational strategies to optimize production resource allocation and workflow.
- Handle operational challenges and high-pressure situations with composure and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high standards of quality and sustainability.
