We are seeking a talented individual to join our HR Digital Transformation team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mumbai/Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Associate Director - IT Quality Assurance & Assuarnce Testing
We will count on you to:
- Envision and develop a library of frontend and backend test automation frameworks to a best-in-class Marsh digital platform
- Be a change agent focusing on quality assurance and exhibit proficiency in manual and automation testing
- Have an ability to explore debug and investigate issues
- Believe in bringing efficiencies through automation using new technologies testing and automation tools
- Drive culture change in technology to become a truly Agile team which is self-organizing DevOps and believe in everything automated
- Collaborate with Marsh technology teams on new / existing test development opportunities
- Continuously learn about new technologies and help keep the entire group abreast of industry developments and evolving best practices in quality assurance and test automation
What you need to have:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related
- 17 years of experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering global and highly scalable customer-facing digital products and capabilities
- Min. 4years of People Management expeirence
- Leadership in thinking and ideating new and innovative solutions for QA
- Hands on Web and API testing and automation experience using BDD Cucumber framework Selenium Core Java Postman REST and SOAP
- Hands on with agile project management tools Jira
- Hands on with NoSQL such as MongoDB
- Experience with Sauce labs is a plus
- Exposure to any JavaScript based testing frameworks
- Exposure to public cloud technology stack in AWS and Azure
- Exposure to orchestration platform such as Camunda
- Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze complex problems using a number of problem solving techniques.
- Experience in delivering complex software quality assurance in an Agile environment
- Proactively partner with business and technology organizations across system and organizational boundaries to identify opportunities and drive automated solutions
