We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Compliance Manager to lead and enhance our regulatory compliance initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in advising senior stakeholders shaping compliance programs and guiding clients through complex regulatory environments such as GDPR MiFID II Solvency II Basel III and DORA. We help them understand how and where the upcoming regulations have an impact within their organization and help with remediations of gaps within existing regulatory guidelines.
What will you do
Your strong affinity and practical expertise in Compliance enable you to guide organizations in building and maintaining robust compliance frameworks ensuring adherence to legal and industry standards and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
Your key responsibilities:
Oversee client assignments and lead key compliance initiatives ensuring tailored high-quality solutions across our portfolio.
Advise on regulatory compliance within frameworks such as GDPR MiFID II Solvency II Basel III and DORA.
Design and enhance compliance policies and governance frameworks aligning with industry standards and best practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders guiding them through complex compliance landscapes and technology adoption.
Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact ensuring proactive adjustments to compliance programs.
Lead compliance audits and regulatory projects driving consistency and accountability across departments
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen compliance effectiveness.
Deliver training and awareness programs fostering a strong compliance culture within client organizations.
Job requirements
Your Skills & Qualifications
A degree in a relevant field (i.e. law criminology )
Excellent knowledge of business English and fluency in Dutch or French
5 years in compliance regulatory risk or as a compliance officer with experience in leading projects
At least 1 year of experience within the financial services sector
Experience in consulting is a strong plus (preferably on Risk & Compliance topics)
Strong understanding of legal frameworks and financial regulations with a commitment to ongoing learning
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying monitor emerging risks and regulatory changes that may impact the organization.
