Job Summary

Description
  • Basic understanding of Supply Chain Inventory Management Warehousing and Transportation operations

  • Must have a sense of urgency and ability to adapt and react quickly as situations arise.

  • Demonstrated background and success with building relationships and working with others to resolve issues.

  • Review the Initial part list from releasing system and validate the supplier details.

  • Set up a master Share Point file with all part information and maintain supersessions.

  • Part loading into ERP for Supply chain team to order on supplier/affiliates.

  • Communicate the part numbers to the responsible buyers for direct suppliers and track until source confirmation is obtained.

  • Contact the affiliate to confirm supportability.

  • Look through various upstream systems to identify alternate sources if required.

  • Investigate IPL errors if any and escalate to the new model coding and Spec supervisor.

  • Ensure incorrect minor feature codes or missing codes are addressed.



Responsibilities
  • Identify the appropriate procurement code reason code etc. for ERP setup based on the business rules provided by the supervisor.

  • Assist markets with any dealer technical or part related queries.

  • Ensure there are no process slippages and thereby meeting key deliverables for the IMG region.

  • Work on continuous process improvement initiatives in the service parts business

  • Participate in Six Sigma projects whenever applicable.



Qualifications
  • Qualified candidates must have a or BE degree in Mechanical/Automobile.

  • 3-5 years hands-on experience in Automotive supply chain/Service parts releasing/service parts catalogue

  • Good data analysis skills with knowledge on new generation analytical tools will be of an added advantage.
