Role Overview
The Engagement & Onboarding Manager is the central coordinator ensuring smooth implementation and ongoing success of engineering teams and micro-teams (often 12 members) established in India for our operating companies. This role bridges stakeholders across the operating company India-based HR and TA facilities and delivery leadership to deliver a seamless onboarding and integration experience. The Engagement Manager owns the implementation plan tracks progress and ensures accountability across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage detailed implementation plans (timeline deliverables owners) for new India-based team members/teams.
- Ensure alignment between Operating Company leaders DevHub teams (TA HR IT Facilities) and Technical Delivery Manager including but not limited to coordinating communications meetings documentation and stakeholders.
Onboarding Readiness
- Serve as the single point of accountability for Day 1 readiness: systems access policies communications and facilities.
- Coordinate with HR IT Facilities and Technical Delivery Manager to ensure employees experience a seamless start.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for Operating Company executives during setup.
- Facilitate regular updates governance meetings and escalation paths.
Program Reporting & Communication
- Provide clear reporting on progress risks and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
- Track KPIs such as time-to-hire onboarding readiness and early productivity.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead retrospectives and capture lessons learned from each implementation.
- Evolve playbooks and best practices for scaling future teams.
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in program/project management client services or engagement management (HR operations technology services or global delivery experience a plus
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of HR TA IT and Facilities processes.
- Experience supporting international or distributed teams strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication facilitation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g. Asana MPP JIRA)
- PMP PRINCE2 or Agile certifications are a plus.
