Backed by clear policies and procedures an experienced team and a robust support structure you can really be effective in this key leadership role. You will take on a variety of responsibilities: making sure our services are managed effectively developing our offering monitoring the quality of our work and helping us meet our statutory obligations. With high demand for our services we must be adaptable and creative and you will lead the way.
You will also be responsible for hiring new staff and building a team that can achieve consistent high levels of service. While you are developing your team we will help you to progress your own professional development through excellent training mentoring and support from committed senior leaders.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Holds approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualified or able to demonstrate a willingness to undertake the training
- Has Leadership skills and motivation
- Can manage change
- Can work collectively with colleagues both internal and external
At East Sussex we are dedicated to developing our staff. As well as comprehensive in-house training we support study for vocational qualifications through our Qualification and Assessment Centre which is being expanded to offer apprenticeships and new learning and development pathways. Hybrid working arrangements are applicable to the role this includes elements of office-based working client visits and working from home. You will need to demonstrate you can meet the travel requirements of the role in your application.
