Job Summary:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer I to join our Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) team. The successful candidate will provide essential support in the development and documentation of requirements and interfaces as well as design analysis modeling and simulation system integration and trade studies. You will play a critical role in ensuring system compliance through the documentation and execution of system verification processes.

This position is a Full-Time On-Site located in Indianapolis Indiana in support of Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities

What You Will Do:

In this Systems Engineer role you may support the following types of activities:

• Provide basic support developing and documenting requirements and interfaces
• Provide basic support developing
• Documenting and executing system verification to show compliance
• Integrate software and hardware subsystems
• Follow a structured data driven approach to solve problems
• Contribute to the completion of
• Project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads
• Follow established SE processes and procedures

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
• Ability to apply basic engineering principles theories and concepts
• Ability to successfully develop solutions to routine technical problems
• Ability to work in a multi discipline team environment
• Articulate status and results
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the requirements to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Previous engineering project and internship experience
• Exposure to requirements development derivation and management
• Exposure to integration of software and hardware subsystems
• Exposure to security engineering concepts and practices and the systems/software development life cycle
• Exposure to Aerospace platforms / systems
• Ability to research and distill data into meaningful information
• Experience using MS Office Suite of tools
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA

The salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
