Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Manage mentor and train a remote team of schedulers responsible for covering various shifts (e.g. 9am-6pm PST 10am-7pm PST).

  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings performance reviews and implement coaching strategies to ensure team members meet accuracy and efficiency targets.

  • Manage shift coverage approve time-off requests and ensure adequate staffing across all operational hours.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Develop document and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for patient intake visit scheduling and EMR data maintenance.

  • Conduct regular audits of scheduling logs and EMR records to ensure 100% compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase scheduling efficiency optimize clinician travel routes and reduce missed visits.

Complex Coordination & Escalation

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex scheduling issues difficult patient or caregiver conflicts and staff coverage emergencies.

  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Directors and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care and appropriate resource allocation.

  • Monitor daily reports analyze scheduling metrics (e.g. visit completion rates intake turnaround time) and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.



Requirements


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in home health or hospice administration with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.

  • Advanced proficiency and extensive hands-on experience with scheduling and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in a home health setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a remote team effectively.

  • Exceptional organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours to cover needs across various PST shifts (including weekend coverage on rotation as needed).
