Job Summary

Summary Of Position
Residential Life at UNH prioritizes quality contact with students on the part of the RHD to facilitate student success and sense of belonging in our communities. We pride ourselves on creating welcoming and inclusive communities for all students. The RHD lives in a residence hall and is responsible for managing all aspects of a university residence hall including: Developmental supervision of student staff Coordinating with other departments to maintain facilities. Developmental contact with residents Implementing an ongoing passive and educational curriculum Building community through intentional programming

Other Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree completed Experience in a leadership role while an undergraduate student Excellent interpersonal and organizational schools A desire to engage with students on a daily basis in their work Experience as a member of a a work setting Ability to work with a diverse population of students and staff Commitment to maintaining a student development focus in the position

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Higher Education or a related field. Two years experience working in a Residential Life Setting in higher education as an undergraduate graduate student or professional Knowledge of student development theory and other related theory Experience as a conduct officer Experience with Star Rez and Maxient Ability to balance the needs of a hall facility students and staff in the building.
