Position Purpose:
Area Manager will work closely with the M&M Xmart team to understand dealer issues and continuously report them to managers.
- Manage Business Operations in the designated territory
- Keep track of dealer and sales operations.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to service dealer channel
- Maintain reports related to dealer stocks on store activities front line sales executives.
- Assist dealer to service end customer and provide genuine information.
- Provide business updates activities to dealers regularly via written communication as well as face to face meetings.
- Keep track of channel hygiene factors.
- Manage channel marketing activities and local branding campaigns.
- Training for on-store and service personnel.
- Look at dealer engagement activities and prepare a budget/calendar for the same.
Manage business Volume and Revenue:
- Effectively handle sales both primary and secondary .
- Franchisee expansion: achieve monthly / quarterly new franchisee additions
Manage and report monthly dealer wise sales figures
- Create new leads and work on leads provided by dealer network
- Review and plan monthly stock offload
- Share QOQ and YOY sales figures with management and deliver on growth as agreed upon
- Improve conversion of leads
- Ensure timely collection of dealership loyalty fees
- Ensure dealer profitability and make him accountable to his targets
Customer Satisfaction and Service Quality:
- Relationship management with M&M Dealers NCDs DSAs procurement channels to support dealer procurement.
- Daily monitoring of customer complaints & support the closure (between dealer & HO)
- Reduce the TAT of customer complaints
- Actively engage with customers (potential and past) to increase CAPs
- Provide after sale services and other schemes to enhance brand experience
Network Expansion:
- Meet prospect to pitch as per laid down calendar to increase footprints ( Network Growth)
- Work with existing network for YOY growth ( Same Store Growth )
Quality Process Improvement:
- Encourage Dealers to certify cars (certification penetration)
- Brand identity adherence as per CI guidelines
- Identify deficiencies in procurement and sales processes- plan counter measures
- Prepare buying and selling index: Local & IBB Price Grid enabler.
- Ensure that all cars are certified online.
People Development:
- Relationship management with M&M X-mart team Dealers NCDs DSAs procurement channels
- Assess performance of the Dealers monthly
- Self-development and learning from other team members
- Identifying the training needs both self and dealership
- Periodic audit of the training given
- Identifying high performer at Dealerships
- Arrange for external and internal training to Dealers and his staff
Role Specifications
Educational Qualification:
Graduate and above
Years/type of experience:
3 proven track record of achieving sales figures along with good domain knowledge and expertise in automobile industry.
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
sound understanding of the pre-owned vehicle segment in automobile industry.
Language:
English/Hindi/ Regional*
