Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Distribution/Warehousing/Auto-shop

Reports to: General Director of Central Services and Facilities Planning
Supervises: Warehouse Auto-Shop and Delivery Staff
Position Purpose: The Distribution Supervisor manages warehouse delivery and auto shop operations while overseeing assigned staff. This role ensures efficient resource allocation maintains inventory and fixed assets supervises personnel enforces safety standards and supports district events and logistics.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Knowledge of inventory procedures and warehouse systems demonstrated with two years of previous warehouse employment
- Four years of previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA safety standards for warehousing fleet and delivery.
- Knowledge of inventory procedures warehouse systems OSHA safety standards and fleet management.
- Skilled in operating forklifts and standard office equipment; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication problem-solving and leadership abilities.
Essential Functions:
- Inventory & Warehouse Management: Conduct inventories receive and stock freight manage procurement surplus sales and warehouse operations maintain master lists service records and fuel logs.
- Staff Supervision: Hire train evaluate and schedule staff; oversee warehouse auto shop and event logistics.
- Fleet & Asset Management: Manage district vehicles service and repair fixed assets and equipment; ensure compliance with safety inspections and regulations.
- Financial & Compliance Oversight: Monitor budgets review purchase orders and contracts ensure OSHA and district safety compliance.
- Operational Coordination: Assign work orders manage food delivery routes schedule building closures and coordinate logistics for district events.
- Emergency & Other Duties: Respond to safety concerns and perform other functions to maintain operational efficiency.
Physical/Emotional Requirements:
- The incumbent may be required to use the following requirements during any part of the working day.
- The incumbent must have the ability to lift carry push and pull items; occasional stooping kneeling climbing or balancing.
- Combination of sitting (50%) walking (25%) and standing (25%).
- Speaking hearing visual reading writing word processing mobility consistency of temperament ability to work with a variety of problems at the same time stamina for working long hours and managing stress in fast-paced environments.
Term of Employment: Twelve (12) months
Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board policy on evaluation of Classified Personnel.
