About the role
Reporting to the Home Manager at CalvaryGeorge Vowell located in Mount Eliza we currently have an opportunity for a Chef Manager to join our team!
Key Responsibilities
- A passion for and previous experience working as a Chef Manager in Aged Care
- Knowledge of the various legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to the catering service within the residential care sector.
- Working knowledge of menu planning ordering managing stock levels IDDSI staff supervision and allergen management.
What you bring
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Diploma of Hospitality
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Health Care Competencies)
- Significant experience in a similar role in the residential care or health care sectors.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
